Type I is not born, but he can be reached by train yourself. This pattern of behavior is not innate. These properties tend to emerge from the situation, the experience and the specific context. Type I behavior, because it arises from the encouragement universal human needs, it does not depend on age, gender, or nationality. When people learn and practice this fundamental attitude - and can be applied in a supportive environment - motivation, performance increases.
Each type of X can be of type I.
Type I always end up defeating the type X. People who are motivated from within always achieve more than those who continue to seek an award. High focus on people who pursue the award can indeed bring quick results. The problem is, this approach is difficult to survive for long. And this attitude also does not support the mastery - which is the key to long term success.
Successful people work hard and persevere through challenges and difficulties due to the encouragement of the control of their lives, learn about their world, and achieve something lasting.
Behavior of type I do not underestimate the money or awards. Both types are concerned with money. If the company does not pay enough for her figure, no matter it is type I or X, motivation will decrease. However, when compensation has met a certain level, the type I and X will behave differently. Type I is not refused a raise.
But one reason need appropriate and fair pay is important so that they can put aside the issue of money and focus on their performance. Instead, X will always talk about money. I prefer to be known as the results of their work. While X seeking acknowledgment is not his goal.
Type I behavior is always renewable resource. Imagine the type of X is the fuel of coal. And type I is sunlight. Coal was cheap, easy to obtain, and the most efficient. But there are two drawbacks to coal, it causes black smoke and pollution; and secondly, it is limited; making it more expensive every year. Award "if - then" should be increased every year.
Type I like sunlight. Constructed of internal motivation, exciting energy is replenished and caused little trouble. The motivation is pure energy: inexpensive, safe to use, and can be renewed indefinitely.
Behavior of type I encourage physical and mental well-being better. Based on research, people oriented autonomy and intrinsic motivation have higher confidence, better interpersonal relationships, and overall well-being better than the type X.
